BEAST MODE TOUR is coming to NYC, November 27, 2012 -Times Square!

We have partnered with various entities to bring to the NEW YORK, TRI-STATE & SURROUNDING AREAS a segment of the BEAST MODE TOUR to TIMES SQUARE, NEW YORK CITY, on November 27, 2012.

On November 27, 2012 The Beast Mode Tour consisting of the following 5 artists:
Beautiful Eulogy, Shai Linne, Theory Hazit, JSON & Steven The Levite


ARTSO has partnered with Lamp Mode Recordings and Humble Beast Records to present The Beast Mode Tour for this Autumn, from October to December 2012. ARTSO is an artist management company whose focus is on the comprehensive development and presentation of artists. We have collaborated with Lamp Mode and Humble Beast to display their artists, who come from different regions with varying styles of hip hop, but most importantly share the same values and message behind their music. The term Beast Mode is a common term that refers to putting all your energy into doing something to the best of your ability. We have come to adopt this term to imply that Humble Beast and Lamp Mode are joining together to do what they do in the most excellent way. In an effort to exhibit Ephesians 4:1-3, these men have committed to walk in a manner worthy of the calling which they have received while being eager to maintain unity, specifically with one another and in the body of Christ. As they seek to flesh this out, they invite their audience to do the same.


The tour will include the following; LampMode artists: Shai Linne, Stephen the Levite, Json; Humble Beast artists: Beautiful Eulogy (which includes Odd Thomas, Braille and Courtland Urbano) and Theory Hazit. The careers of these men have been established by a true and devoted following with appreciation for authentic Hip Hop. Their rare talent and treasured sound have afforded them the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as Lecrae, The Ambassador, Trip Lee & Da T.R.U.T.H. to name a few. It is with great pleasure that we display the dynamic lyricism and transformative message of these artists to a wider audience by giving them national exposure. Can't Wait!

Wow, it's been a minute... Trip Lee, Lampmode, Flame news...

Sometimes, I come to my Blog and get ready to post, however, I then proceed to lose interest. This is the general feeling I been having lately, with almost everything I do. I call these times seasons of calamity, or depression. Whatever you prefer, it really doesn't matter to me, I have struggled with this for the majority of my life. As a Christian, Jesus has helped me through His Word, to set my mind on things from above, and the Scriptures have honestly helped me when I struggle. But never the less, I continue to struggle. I have accepted this as a thorn, I have read about many men of the faith, that I respect, such as Charles Spurgeon to name one, that had deep bouts with depression.

Depression is difficult to understand especially if you don't struggle with it. It's roots are stem from historical events, and of course sin. I can honestly say that my depression for the most part deals with a great portion of pride and selfishness. I fall into this pity party, though I don't communicate this, I know this. Hopelessness overtakes me, and I tend not to see the great things of this life and the wonderful splendor of my LORD. I forget about the blessings and gifts He has graced upon me, such as my salvation, my wife, my children, my family, and everything else.

I have heard many say that if I struggle with depression, how is it that I can be saved. That to me is such an ignorant comment or ideology. I know many Christians who have diseases, hardships, struggles and difficulties, what makes depression different than these ailments? It's not different, it's just different, if that makes any sense. I don't blame anyone, not even the Devil, though I know his plans are to destroy me, I look at this struggle as something the Lord has allowed for a purpose, and the fact is that I may struggle with this for the rest of my life, and thats ok. The reason I say it's ok, it's simple, God is God, He is Sovereign, all powerful, and who He is is not contingent on who I am or struggle with, I am a mere man, and in essence His creation, therefore, inferior. I have no issues with that, I have been graced with the opportunity to live and die, and ultimately reside with Him forever.

This is my life.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

A day in the life of a Martyr...

Shai Linne has this awesome album called Storiez, its a project comprised of songs that depict stories, each song is deeply profound, and of course every song strives to Glorify our Maker Jesus Christ, one of my favorite verses on the album is on this song called "Martyrs" Im going to post the lyrics to JSon's verse (you can also listen to the song on my Player on the right, its the first song), here it goes, enjoy:

I trembled with fear my mind started to think about death

Hair leaking with sweat I thought my heart would beat through my chest

A woman that walked up next spit on the Bible and left

The official shot in the air of the air continued yelling out threats

I was tempted to do it- I just wanted to leave

The moment I thought this, I felt overwhelmingly grieved

I gritted my teeth, tears began to stream down my face

I needed some faith I just started to think on His grace

In my head I said “forget it” as I walked toward the text

Kneeled to the floor, wiped the spit off the Bible with my dress

To live is Christ, to die is gain ain’t a popular song

I said, “Father forgive them" as I was shot in the dome!
